What every piece covers

Each Deep Research piece follows the same structure, so you always know where to find the part you need - whether that is the one-minute summary or the exact level where the idea is wrong.

  • The thesis in 60 seconds - the opportunity, the key numbers and a clear rating: bullish, bearish or mixed
  • What the market is missing - where the share price and the fundamentals disagree
  • The bull case and the bear case side by side, with the risks stated plainly
  • Scenario price targets - bear, base and bull prices, each with its upside or downside from the price at writing
  • Technicals and key levels - the price channel, the 50/200-day EMA trend regime and relative strength against the stock's sector or index
  • Catalysts - the upcoming events that could move the stock
  • The playbook - entry zone, where to add, where to trim, the invalidation level and position sizing

Price targets grounded in the chart and the numbers

Price targets combine the stock's price channel with what the business is expected to earn, so a target is both a level the chart supports and a valuation the fundamentals can justify. Every scenario shows its move from the price when the piece was written, and the reader shows the live price beside it, so you can see how the thesis is playing out.

The analysis is equity-research style - earnings, margins, valuation multiples, balance sheet and competitive position - written in plain English instead of a 40-page PDF.

Transparent by design

Every piece is dated, states whether DTL holds the stock and records the price it was trading at when it was written. When the view on a stock changes, a new piece is published and the earlier ones stay in that stock's history, so the track record is visible.

Built for the screen

Pieces are interactive: charts, scenario tracks and stat cards rather than walls of text. On desktop each section is its own slide; on mobile the piece reads as one smooth scroll. From any piece you can jump straight to the stock's chart, its fundamentals dashboard or the videos that cover it.

Frequently asked questions

What is DTL Deep Research?

A library of in-depth writeups on individual stocks. Each one sets out the investment thesis, the bull and bear case, scenario price targets, the key chart levels, upcoming catalysts and a trade plan with entry, adds, trims, invalidation and sizing.

Do the pieces include price targets?

Yes. Every piece gives bear, base and bull price targets that combine the stock's price channel with its fundamentals, each shown with its move from the price at writing. They are scenarios, not predictions or guarantees.

Which stocks are covered?

Coverage focuses on widely followed growth and technology names and grows over time. The list on this page shows every stock with a published piece and links straight to it.

How is it different from a broker's research report?

It is written by DTL, a professional private investor, not a bank with a business relationship to the company. Each piece states DTL's own position and the exact level where the thesis would be wrong, and it is designed to be read in minutes.

Is any Deep Research free?

Yes. One piece is free for everyone to read. The full library is part of DTL Premium.

Is Deep Research financial advice?

No. It is general research and education, not personal financial advice. Price targets can be wrong, trading involves risk and you can lose money. Always size positions for your own situation.
